Welcome Message

Dear Colleagues,

Pathology Update symposium has been postponed and the new date will be announced shortly.

The focus of this symposium is challenges in the practice of Anatomic Pathology. Our expert faculty have developed international guidelines and standards of practice. They will help you enhance your diagnostic skills by a series of interactive lectures and digital microscopy sessions. They will share pearls and pitfalls in diagnostic interpretation. The discussion will include pertinent immunohistochemical and molecular genetic techniques.

Over these two days, the symposium has been designed to provide a practical and comprehensive review of a variety of topics in Anatomic Pathology, including Breast Pathology, Gastrointestinal Pathology, Genitourinary Tract Pathology, and Gynecologic Pathology.

At the completion of this course, you will be familiar with the most up-to-date terminology and diagnostic criteria for a wide variety of diagnoses. You will be able to use relevant ancillary tests to support your diagnoses. Throughout the course, the faculty will stress practical tips and emphasize information that should be included in the pathology report to maximize its value to the clinician and patient. The talks will incorporate pertinent information on pathologic staging of neoplasms to meet the requirements of the 8th Edition of the AJCC Manual for Cancer Staging.
